Frequently Asked Questions

How many pens are included?

The set contains four pens: one Light Coffee, one Light Brown, one Grass Green and one Light Blue barrel.

Do the pens write in four different colours?

No. All four pens write in black ink. The colour names refer only to the pen barrels.

What is the tip size?

Each pen has a 0.5mm tip. Actual written line width can vary with paper and writing pressure.

What ink does the pen use?

The pens use black RRG patented ink, specified as waterproof, quick-drying and light-resistant.

Does quick-drying mean the ink cannot smudge?

No. Drying time depends on the paper and writing conditions. Allow the ink to dry before touching it, closing a notebook or applying a highlighter.

Is the ink waterproof and light-resistant?

Yes, these are the specified ink properties. Allow the ink to dry fully, and test on your chosen paper if water or light exposure matters to your project. No archival certification or unlimited fade-resistance claim is made.

Does it have a cap?

The pen uses a retractable click mechanism. Retract the writing tip after use.

Which replacement refill should I buy?

A compatible replacement refill model is not specified here. Check the product packaging or Penac's instructions before purchasing replacement refills.
